Client Rights and Responsibilities
All clients have the right to:

Receive information about their rights and responsibilities in writing, during initial contact, and in their preferred language.

Be informed of the organization's hours of operation, rules, behavioral expectations, and conditions that may result in discharge.

Receive services that are non-discriminatory, respectful of cultural and linguistic diversity, and inclusive of religious or spiritual expression.

Participate in decisions regarding their services, including being informed of the benefits, risks, alternatives, and side effects.

Provide informed consent prior to services and to refuse treatment, unless mandated by law or court order.

Receive services in the least restrictive or intrusive environment available.

Lodge complaints, grievances, or appeals and receive assistance with doing so.
